Rudolf Schoofs was a German painter and graphic artist. He ranks among the notable artists of post-war art. Thematically, he consistently engaged with the themes of landscape and figure in space. In 1975 he was appointed professor at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. Participation in documenta 6, 1977 in Kassel. He received several prizes and awards.
Heliogravure on Arches handmade paper with a nice deckle edge. 40x50 cm., Two small creases outside the depiction.
