Description from the seller

Original color screenprint by Roger Nellens
Signed and numbered in pencil
This is specimen no. 1 of the edition
Print workshop: Original screen
Publisher: Bekaert
With blind stamp
In pristine condition, never previously framed, always kept in the graphics folder

Autodidact and key figure of the Knokke art scene, Roger Nellens began in the late 1960s to develop his poetic-surrealist ‘Imaginary Machines,’ in which technique and imagination merge. His work aligns with the Belgian surrealist tradition and shows affinities with pop surrealism. As an organizer and patron, he brought international artists to Knokke, including Keith Haring, who stayed with the Nellens family for several summers. Nellens’s works can be found, among others, in Mu.ZEE, Ostend, and in the Brussels Metro.
