Description from the seller
This diptych stages the most powerful and fragile moment of the human experience: crossing. On one side, the monumental Indian door, richly decorated, stands as a solemn boundary between the profane world and the spiritual one; on the other, a stolen glance through the keyhole, intimate and silent, guiding toward the inner space heavy with mystery.
The dialogue between light and darkness, revelation and waiting, transforms the architecture into a metaphor: not a mere structure, but a symbolic threshold, a place of passage and contemplation. A work that invites the observer to pause, to observe, and to question what lies beyond what is visible.
Two photographs by Fabio Accorrà in a limited edition with two 40x50 cm FRAMES INCLUDED.
The photographic prints will be accompanied by the certificate of authenticity, will be framed, stamped and signed directly by the undersigned, author of the work. The entire process, from printing to shipping, is personally overseen by the undersigned, this to offer a service of the highest quality and originality.
It is often said that my images resemble paintings due to the richness of colors, the depth and the texture of the materials I use. For these special prints I use paper and inks of the highest quality that maintain their colors for life and resistance to UV rays. I personally print and frame all my prints, having spent years learning this skill, I prefer to maintain control of all production stages to ensure you obtain a perfect image and always with an eye to eco-sustainability.

Fabio Accorrà (1984) is an Italian travel photographer.
Born in 1984, lifelong traveler, he approaches photography in the nineties developing the first rolls and using Polaroid. Photography has managed to leave an indelible mark on every one of his travels, from the confined landscapes of Lapland to the chaotic life of New York and Tokyo, from desert sand to the power of Icelandic nature to the far reaches of Greenland. From Salgado to Steve McCurry his inspiration leads him to range from travel photography to traditional black and white.
His publications and exhibitions are numerous around Italy. To name some of the most important: in 2019 he publishes The colors of Japan published by Erga, a photographic project that tells his journey in Japan and in the same year he exhibits at the Consulate-General of Japan the photographic exhibition with an excerpt of the book's photographs. In 2020 the success with the photographic exhibition “The Colors of Japan” at the Edoardo Chiossone Oriental Art Museum in Genoa.
Judge at the Wiki Loves Monuments photography contest with Wikimedia Italia for the Abruzzo Region in the 2019 and 2020 editions. In May 2021, also due to the pandemic that keeps him from long travels, he publishes “The Colors of Genoa” (Erga Edizioni), a photographic book that tells the beauty of his beloved city. In June 2022 he publishes his third photographic book, “Venice colors and words of silence” (Erga Edizioni), a photographic reportage that tells Venice as never seen before, deserted in the last lockdown.
In December 2023 he receives the "Talent Prize of Genoa 2023" from the Mayor of Genoa Marco Bucci on the proposal of the Genoa Talent Committee of the Municipality of Genoa.
