Brothers, an original abstract acrylic painting by Esper Hagen (1964–2008), 110 cm by 70 cm, signed, created in 2007 in the Netherlands, in good condition.
Description from the seller
From about the mid-1990s, Espen Hagen worked closely with his friend Herman Brood. Espen exhibited twice at Café Dante, one of which was with Brood. In 1997 they again exhibited together, this time at the Arsenaal of Jan des Bouvrie in Naarden. Through their regular joint appearances and the many canvases they produced together, Espen Hagen is often referred to as the protégé / successor of Herman Brood.
Espen Hagen was seen as the “coming man” in Dutch painting. Thanks to numerous exhibitions both domestically and abroad and his regular television appearances, the star of this talented artist rose rapidly. Espen Greger Hagen died on 10 April 2008.

Seller's Story
