This is a print of a nude by Max Kreijn. After several years of studying architecture at the Technische Hogeschool Eindhoven, he studied Monumental Art at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He also took lessons at the Royal College of Art in London under, among others, R.B. Kitaj and David Hockney. After his studies, Kreijn first went to the island of Ibiza and then to Assisi and Florence. For a period of about forty years the artist lived and worked in various countries, including Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina, and Australia. He divided his time mainly between his studios in Bangkok and Sydney. This international life course and broad cultural influences are clearly reflected in his work.
The work is viewable in our gallery. In addition, Art Dumay operates a framing shop (this year celebrating its 85th anniversary) and a restoration workshop. So should you wish to make use of these services, we would of course be happy to hear from you.

From our gallery for contemporary painting and our art dealership with classical works, we are engaged in evaluating, purchasing, and selling art. Thanks to our effective auction methodology, we are able to reach a large international audience, while our art collections are safely stored and insured in our 1,000 m² building in Nuenen.
