A work by Amsterdam-based artist MiLo (1976).
Bold black structures anchor the composition, forming a fragmented framework/circuitry that feels both deliberate and instinctive. Beneath and between these elements, a pale, layered surface reveals subtle traces, fine lines, and ghostlike gestures.
The painting evokes a sense of hidden systems and silent connections — a visual language of pathways, interruptions, and rhythm. Order and disruption coexist, creating a tension that feels architectural yet organic.
