Alphonse Mucha - Documents Decoratifs

Mucha Alphonse Plate No. 47 from "DOCUMENTS DECORATIFS" published in Paris in 1901-1902 by Emile Levy, on a single sheet (46x33). Magnificent principal work in the Art Nouveau style, it constitutes an encyclopedic repertory of the Liberty style. In good condition, small losses to the lower part of the right margin and to the upper left corner (as shown in the photo). Mucha was the foremost example and one of the founders of the new aesthetic vision that distinguished the period bridging the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, laying the foundations of visual communication widely used to this day.
