Japanese Tea Ceremony Set – Chawan, Chasen and Chashaku – Signed – Unused – With Original Box
A refined Japanese tea ceremony set consisting of a ceramic chawan (tea bowl), a bamboo chasen (tea whisk) and a bamboo chashaku (tea scoop), presented in its original storage box.
The set is unused. It was only opened for photography.
The chawan features a calm and elegant glaze transition from light cream tones to deep indigo at the base, giving it a subtle yet expressive character. The proportions are well balanced and comfortable in the hand, suitable for both practical tea preparation and display.
The underside bears a maker’s mark. The exact artist and kiln are unknown.
Condition:
Unused. No cracks, no chips, no repairs.
The bamboo whisk and scoop are clean and in original condition.
The set has only been opened for documentation purposes.
