Description from the seller
I_KONIQ (1969) - (stage name of Lijuk Crem) is a multifaceted artist who began his journey in the world of printing and graphic design in 1988. His career started in offset printing and led him to become CEO of an important typography company in northern Italy, tripling turnover in a few years, where he gained solid knowledge of printing techniques and visual dynamics.
Over the years, Lijuk has broadened his field of action, exploring new artistic possibilities and ranging from pop art to visual reinterpretations of famous characters. His style is distinguished by a unique fusion of pop culture, references to iconic tradition, and a bold use of color. Just as Andy Warhol did with Campbell’s cans, or Mario Schifano with COCA-COLA, Lijuk reinterprets familiar images, elevating the ordinary to extraordinary through the use of modern graphic techniques and visual irony.
Each of his works is a tribute to the iconography of popular culture, but at the same time, I_KONIQ manages to imprint his own personal vision, questioning and reinventing the very idea of celebrity and visual icon.
Today, Lijuk’s work is a testament to how graphic art can evolve, maintaining its strong communicative power while renewing it with a fresh and innovative perspective.
Each artwork is sold signed by hand on the front and numbered on the work (white edge of the border) so as not to ruin the beauty of the piece as a whole but to give it the correct value.
The print is produced with the Giclée technique in 12 passes in Digital Fine Art on premium glossy cotton canvas 380 g/m2.
To preserve colors over time, each piece is handmade painted and varnished with a special treatment for lighting to enhance colors and protect against deterioration over time.
Each artwork is shipped in a rigid cardboard tube to safeguard and protect your new purchase and in addition to the size of the work includes a lateral border for framing on the wooden frame, calculating a lateral thickness of 4 centimeters and an outer border of over 4 cm that remains white for mounting on the back of the frame (not provided).
All works by our artists are the result of creative hands and diverse cultures, even if all come together, merging in a unique harmony.
NB shipments to the Azores, Balearics, and Corsica will incur an extra cost to be quantified as follows:
Azores + €35 to the Spain cost
Balearics + €30 to the Spain cost
Corsica + €50 to the France cost
