Gio Mondelli is a contemporary, multi-disciplinary Italian artist. His painterly research has focused mainly on the discovery of new techniques, styles and trends. After an academic career, his works capture the essence of Symbolist and Surrealist painting. For a brief period he painted more classical and hyperreal pieces, but was not satisfied until he became an expressionist. Professional art critics admire his paintings for offering a truly unique perspective on the landscape.
Gio Mondelli was born in 1953, in Italy, where he graduated from LABA Libera Accademia di Belle Arti. His works are in private collections in Belgium, Germany, France, and the United States.
