Attracted to figurative art, I continue a personal journey toward deepening and studying the female figure, in constant search of a new artistic expression.
This work is handmade using the collage technique, a material-based artistic technique that combines textures, colors, and different motifs, gluing fabric scraps (jacquard, velvet, gabardine, jeans and jute) onto a base to create depth and texture. A modern mosaic, which combines material and painting for a three-dimensional result.
The fabric collage allows exploring artistic narration through tactile materials, elevating everyday reality to a form of art.
These different fabric textures create a symbolic connection between cultures and peoples.
