Lever-filling system (replica of the 1908 original). This is a unique design in that the lever interacts with a compression converter in the reservoir.

The pen body is brass, nickel-plated and then gold-plated in 23-carat gold with an elaborate engraved scrollwork pattern on the surface. The section is black.

Two-tone 18k gold nib, extra-fine size, marked X on the section.

Used but well preserved.

Original presentation box, in fair condition, shows signs of age and bears an ink stain right where the bottle is stored (see photos).
