Lasveguix doesn’t just paint, he tears, overlaps, reconstructs. His creations are wall skins, fragments of urbanity where posters mingle with graffiti, where acrylic talks to spray paint and Posca. Each piece is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he feeds his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one senses the echo of the great names who have marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
For more than twenty years active in the street art scene, Lasveguix has managed to establish a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he has transpose this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time, and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Known for his individuality, he regularly takes part in charitable galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Around the Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His creations reach record amounts there, confirming a unique place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix asserts an accessible, free, and vibrant art, where each torn piece tells a love story and a message of positivity.
