Daniele Pezzoli has built his artistic path starting from academic studies under the guidance of renowned masters, then arriving at photography through international sports photojournalism. For over a decade he documented Formula 1 and MotoGP competitions, developing a vision he later transferred to the worlds of fashion and advertising for prestigious outlets such as GQ, Forbes, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan, also collaborating on campaigns for the Pavarotti International Festival.
His practice is distinguished by a physical and material approach that goes beyond the traditional snapshot, using Rank Xerox photocopiers and instant films since the seventies. Inspired by figures such as Nino Migliori and Piero Manai, he made the Polaroid the centerpiece of a research aimed at creating unique, unrepeatable images, suspended between photography and painting, influenced by Dadaist hints and direct manipulations of printing supports that enhance their abstract nature.
Alongside his artistic production, Pezzoli devotes part of his activity to social photography as a tool for dialogue in contexts such as penitentiaries and recovery communities, stimulating personal awareness through creative processes. His works have been presented in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, becoming part of important international and museum collections that recognize their experimental and human value.
