Artist's biography: Raymond POULET was born in Paris in 1934. A former student of the Écoles des Arts Décoratifs, Beaux-Arts, and the Paris Academy of Painting, he regularly exhibits in France, Réunion Island, Guadeloupe, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Belgium, Germany, the United States, Japan, Gabon, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon. He works in oil, lithography, engraving, and Aubusson tapestries. He has illustrated numerous books and created several posters. Three monographs have been dedicated to his work.
