Description from the seller
Puzzle
The modern puzzle arose in 1767, when the English cartographer John Spilsbury created the first educational puzzle. He took a wooden geographic map and cut it into pieces, each depicting a single country. The aim was to teach geography to children, who had to reconstruct the complete image by matching the pieces in the correct order. Today the puzzle has become a form of entertainment loved by millions around the world and has also taken on a symbolic meaning referring to the patience required to obtain a complete image from individual pieces.
Each piece of a puzzle has its own role and its own place within the image, and it is not understandable on its own if detached from the image that contains it. The puzzle thus becomes a celebration of collaboration and convergence, where the parts make sense only when integrated into an image that contains them, just as the image itself derives its completeness from the presence of all the parts that compose it.
Urso wanted to reproduce the game of the pieces that make up the puzzle, using silver and transparent enamels, with a graphic and chromatic effect absolutely innovative.

Transparent blue enamel
