The work has remained within the same family ever since. The original gallery label is still present on the reverse of the stretcher.

Condition:

• Canvas: The painting itself is in excellent condition. The colors are bright and the canvas shows no visible damage.
• Frame: The frame is in fair condition. There are clear signs of age and use (see photos). The frame is included free of charge, allowing the buyer to hang the painting immediately or to restore or replace the frame according to personal taste.
