AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Artist: Alberola Jean-Michel
Title of the painting: Lehahiah
Acrylic on canvas
80 x 80 cm
Original work, signed bottom right

In Lehahiah, which is the name of an angel, I capture a suspended moment where time seems to slow under the softness of a nocturnal rain. Two silhouettes entwined walk along a riverside promenade, protected by an umbrella, while a faithful dog accompanies this intimate and silent scene.

I have particularly worked light as a central element of the composition. The diffuse glow of the streetlamp reflects on the wet ground, creating a vibrant and almost tactile play of textures. The vertical streaks suggesting rain energize the pictorial surface, while the warm tones of the trees respond to the deep blues of the sky and the water.

Through this work, I wished to combine contemporary romanticism and cinematic atmosphere. The texture, transparency effects and the misty depth invite the viewer to enter the scene and feel the warmth of the moment despite the rain.

The square format (80 x 80 cm) reinforces the balance of the composition and offers a strong presence in an elegant, classic or contemporary interior.

Original work, made with acrylic on canvas, mounted on a frame and ready to hang.
Excellent condition.

A piece that is at once decorative and emotional, intended for those who are sensitive to the poetry of simple moments and the beauty of timeless atmospheres.
All my canvases bear the name of an angel.
