Description from the seller

The Ascorti brand was founded in 1980 by Roberto Ascorti, son of Giuseppe Ascorti (co-founder of Caminetto with Luigi Radice).
The “Golden Sand” series is one of Ascorti’s classic lines, characterized by:
- deep and uniform sandblasting,
- red or maroon color,
- traditional mouthpiece with logo engraved in gold,
- and a robust design, typically Pesarese.
The SINI logo engraved on the cannello is extremely rare and indicates a collaboration or internal identification of a master sandblaster or finisher (presumably Sini Ascorti. KS line, 1990s).
Estimated production: 1990s – early 2000s, during the period of full autonomy of the Cucciago workshop.
This is a sandblasted model with a red-bordeaux wine finish, which highlights the briar growth ring.
Shank: black glossy vulcanite with a gold-inlaid "A" logo, fine craftsmanship with a traditionally well-calibrated tenon.
Shape: Billiard KS1 (King Size), slightly curved
Finish: Sandblasted “Golden Sand”, Bordeaux hue
Material: Italian briar
Mouthpiece: black vulcanite with gold-inlaid "A" insert
Workmanship: Entirely handmade (Hand Made in Italy)
Craftsman: Ascorti (Cucciago, Como)
Length: 157 mm, weight: 80 g
