Jacques Barraband (Aubusson, August 13, 1768 – Lyon, October 1, 1809) was a French painter and illustrator. He devoted himself to drawing and painting animals and flowers, and is therefore known for his exceptional representations of exotic birds and for his floral still lifes. He was one of the first artists to form the School of Lyon.
