Description from the seller
Gallery selling price: €1,700
Edition 2/3 – Signed and numbered
Framed (simple black wooden frame, no glass)
Fine Art print on Hahnemühle Baryta paper
DESCRIPTION
The Stalker presents a scene where domestic calm and suspense coexist in a delicate visual balance. The protagonist appears relaxed inside her home, seated in an armchair with a bathrobe and a towel on her head, reading the newspaper under a warm and enveloping light.
The atmosphere conveys intimacy and tranquility, almost like a cinematic still. However, the shadow projected on the wall—with an unsettling silhouette of rounded ears—breaks that apparent serenity and suggests a silent threat.
The work plays with irony and the eerie, turning the everyday into a visual narrative charged with subtle tension. It invites the viewer to place themselves in that preceding moment when something is about to happen.
