Description from the seller
Francesc Bergadà is a Spanish visual artist. As an emerging painter, he has already participated in several national and international exhibitions. His original style in portraying works in such a concrete and clean manner makes him a distinctive artist with great potential.
His works focus on three main pillars: the abstract, minimalism, and geometry. His canvases depict abstract constructions within a minimalist context where his straight lines stand out, providing impact while at the same time lending elegance to the space where they might be placed. He tends to use chromatic schemes in gray tones, along with basic colors such as black, white, or blue. Regarding materials, most of the works have 4 cm thick stretchers and linen canvas. He uses mixed media, with acrylic paint throughout all his works.
His design inspiration comes from the classic game Tangram, used to build geometric compositions with symmetric and asymmetric elements. In addition to influences from the Bauhaus movement and from Nordic contemporary artists such as Carsten Beck. Far from virtuosity, he aims to convey emotions in every brushstroke and in his simple designs.
The painting is sent in excellent condition, painted with high-quality acrylic paint on linen canvas and framed with an oak wooden frame. It is shipped ready to hang with a 4 cm thick wooden frame, packaged and boxed in cardboard from Spain. Work signed on the back of the canvas, includes certificate of authenticity. It is part of the collection of the four works "Lines Of Construction". It represents a construction of elements, which on a rustic linen background emerge and stand out through their straight shapes and matte solid black finish, bringing elegance and design to any space.
