Oil painting on panel by Eugène Joseph Frans Lücker (Roermond, July 9, 1876 – Nijmegen, May 30, 1943). The work shows a bridge over the water with a city in the background.
Lücker was a Dutch painter and etcher and quickly grew into a central figure in Nijmegen's cultural life. He worked a lot outdoors and initially produced paintings, watercolors and pastels in a luminist style. His work is characterized by warm, colorful landscapes with influences from late Impressionism. Museum Het Valkhof in Nijmegen houses the largest collection of Lücker's works.
Dimensions: 44 x 60 cm
Dimensions with frame: 58 x 73 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition we have our own in-house frame shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore we make use of restorers from the industry association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
