In creating this piece, I used acrylic to explore the intersection of figurative art and abstraction, blending minimalism and pop art. I portray raw emotion, vulnerability, and this search for comfort that is universal in the human experience. This canvas becomes a dynamic expression of shared feelings, inviting the viewer to contemplate their deepest emotions, illuminating the inside with an evocative and powerful artistic dialogue.

Elisa Bonotti is a Italy-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationwide. Through her bold figurative works, she explores contemporary social themes such as gender discrimination, ethnicity, discrimination against women, etc. Inspired by the Fauvist art movement, Bonotti's artistic practice is marked by her use of vibrant colors. She most often uses mixed media with acrylic, ink and oil pastels on canvas.
