Mixed media: pigment ink, acrylic paint, spray, Posca, marker, stencil, transfer, spray and drips on free-hanging canvas. Unique work dated and signed on the back and sold with its certificate of authenticity. In her work, Misako uses digital tool (graphic tablet) and the painting medium to parody, in a colorful street pop art version, some famous artworks from Art History and thus point to certain contemporary societal issues. She notably works a lot on the status of women in contemporary society and mixes popular icons with content from entirely different universes in order to reconstruct scenes in a different context to invite the viewer to reflect on another field of possibilities.

The dynamic and vibrant pieces by the French street artist Misako are catchy and relevant to current world movements and events. Her works provoke a strong reaction from the spectator, inspired by Pop Art and urban graffiti. Her works feature nostalgic and emblematic characters, symbols and subliminal messages.
