Maria is a contemporary urban-funky artist with a very distinctive style that lives and works in London. She was born in Florence and moved to London in 2001 in search of an adventure. The same year Maria discovered her love for painting and decided to stay in this wonderful city, for good. In 2007 she become a full time artist. Her work is about an imaginary world in a parallel dimension with UFOs, television people and hidden messages. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. You can meet Maria and view all her paintings at "Hidden House Gallery" in Forest Hill, South East London, every Sunday. A very cute Estate Agency becomes an unique art gallery one day a week only.. It comes with an old ornate wooden frame that Maria bought from a second hand shop in South East London. At the back of the frame there is the original label from Chessington World Adventures in UK. The painting represents a futuristic areal view of London with vibrant colours and all Maria's characters, like the ufos, helicopters and TV people.
