Original work by photographer Ben DAUCHEZ from the IGGY POP series.
This spectacular XXL-format print features IGGY POP, pioneer of the punk movement and a true icon of the 20th century.
This piece is a digital photomontage created by Ben DAUCHEZ from photographs he took in 2014 in Paris, during a private photo session with IGGY.
This edition, exhibited at the Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles, is the first print of a limited series of 5 copies in the format.
The photograph coming directly from BEN DAUCHEZ’s studio is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity written and signed by the photographer.
Format: 40 x 70 cm
Support: Ink-jet print on BARYTA FINE ART MAT paper. It has never been framed.
The work will be insured, carefully packaged and promptly shipped.
About BEN DAUCHEZ:
Passionate about photography from a very young age, Ben began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle (France). He acquired all the basics of photographic technique, from shooting to retouching and through to the lab.
At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to complete his training by becoming a set assistant for the Daguerre studios, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir, and Studio Zéro.
Ben has had the opportunity to collaborate and assist some of the most talented photographers: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM...
From certain decisive encounters, beautiful projects and long collaborations were born, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry exhibition INRI and its eponymous book published by Editions Albin Michel), Peter BEARD (Pirelli calendar 2009 in Botswana).
His photos have been published, among others, by Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, WallPapers, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Vogue, Dandy Magazine…
His world also interests brands with very different brand identities, for which he has signed institutional and/or advertising campaigns: Dior (beauty), L’Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris, or Burger King (advertising awarded at the Dubai Lynx), PEUGEOT Motorcycles, ...
