I graduate in scenography in Rome, with top marks, and initially work a lot as a set decorator in various theatrical and television productions. This activity gives me productive painting skills for my artworks. I develop sensitivity for the figure of the woman whom I portray in all her facets, letting through her strength but also great fragility, using the help of sandy material and resin. Resin as a symbol of water as a vital element from which we are protected since the maternal womb, but sometimes also suffocated. I call it the frozen lava, which fossilizes and freezes the present moment. The works made exclusively in oil are from the series "Bad Girl" and "Bad Boy", in which I show a strong, transgressive and sensual woman/man. Armchair is the most recent series and its protagonist is my beloved armchair, where the models relate to it. Today a television production designer, I keep my love for the project fused with emotion, which I try to express in all fields.
