Description from the seller

1. Ceramic Pipe, earthenware. This is a classic piece of Dutch tobacco craftsmanship.

Pipa Details
Brand/Manufacturer: Zenith. It is one of the oldest and most famous ceramic pipe factories in Gouda, Netherlands.

Material: It is made of high-quality white ceramic (stoneware). Unlike sea foam or wood pipes, ceramic offers a very "clean" and fresh smoke, as the material does not impart flavor to the tobacco.

Visual Style: Features the iconic Delft Blue style.

Motif: A traditional windmill is depicted, a classic Dutch landscape.

Inscription: Includes the word "HOLLAND" both on the ceramic and on the metal ring.

Components:

Bowl and stem: Glazed white ceramic.

Flaring (Ring): Metal (possibly nickel or low-purity silver), where the name "Zenith" is clearly legible.

Mouthpiece: Dark synthetic material (probably ebonite or Bakelite), designed to be detachable for easy cleaning.

Historical Context
Zenith ceramic pipes were very popular during the 20th century as high-quality souvenirs, but they are also highly prized functional pieces by collectors. The Zenith factory in Gouda closed in the late 1980s, making these pipes vintage collectible objects.

Condition
From what can be seen in the photos, the pipe is in excellent condition. It does not have cracks in the ceramic, and the glaze retains its original shine. The darkening on the metal ring is a natural patina from time, which can be cleaned easily if you prefer it to shine more.

2. White clay pipe.
This is a white clay (kaolin) pipe, a classic design that has been used for centuries, especially popular between the 17th and 19th centuries.

Physical Characteristics
Material: Appears to be made of kaolin (fine white clay). This material is known to be porous, allowing the pipe to absorb moisture and heat, offering a "dry" and neutral smoke, as it does not add flavor to the tobacco.

Color: Uniform matte white, typical of unfired unglazed clay.

Bowl: Has a rounded shape and slightly forward-tilted. The interior looks clean, suggesting it is new or has had very little use.

Stem: Long, straight, and slender. In this type of pipe, the stem and the bowl are usually a single solid ceramic piece.

Bite: The tip is simple, without an added plastic or vulcanite mouthpiece, maintaining a traditional style.

Design Details
Style: Minimalist and functional design. It has no reliefs, engravings, or decorations, placing it in a "tavern" or historical everyday-use style.

Finish: Small surface irregularities are visible (such as a small mark on the side of the bowl), giving it an artisanal or traditional production look via molds.

Both pipes are in Mint condition, NOS items.
They measure 14 cm in length each.
The stand is not included.
