Biography:
Daniela Scanu, born in the city of Brescia in 1976, since childhood she has shown a pronounced creative aptitude, which leads her to studies in fashion and drawing. She attended the Fortuny IPSIA Institute in Brescia, earning a diploma as a stylist and costume designer.
Subsequently, she does not continue the path in the fashion sector, but undertakes sports studies, which allow her to become an international judge of pole sport and a sports instructor.
She teaches for several years at sports centers and dance schools:
Pole sport, aerial spiral, yoga, Caribbean dances, oriental dances, ballroom dancing, yoga.
Thanks to her great tenacity and determination she achieves excellent results as an international athlete.
Among the most important to mention:
- 1st place in Tortosa, Spain at the "WSG 2019",
- 2nd place in Finland at the "Championship 2019".
But her true vocation remains the art of photography, that quiet love which, thanks to dance and sport, she continues to cultivate, deepening specifically artistic nude, portraiture, and conceptual photography.
Daniela Scanu’s photographic world is capable of inspiring and enchanting the viewer; her distinctive sensibility and powerful expressive sense reach a point of strong convergence between artistic photography and painting and sculpture.
The ability to translate a body into universal iconographies through which personal emotions and introspection travel.
The human body becomes the vehicle of the soul’s transport, an expression of pain, but also of great inner rebirth.
