The painting seems to strive upward on its own. The shapes know only one direction: upward, to where the highest point awaits. It is as if the painting has its own will – as if it says: I am not finished yet, I will continue to grow.

The clean lines gather their strength like a body standing upright. The red burns like a heart beating faster the closer it comes to the goal. The black is the solid ground, the support, but also the shadow that must be crossed. And the warm orange around it feels like a light that accompanies the path, patient, almost caring.

In "Zenit" there is a moment of pure determination. The painting stands there like someone who believes in themselves, who takes the most important step right now – the one upward. It tells of the moment when you feel: I am about to become my peak.
