"Sonnensturz" tells of a moment when the light does not softly fade, but throws itself with all its power into the depths. The red acts like a glowing memory, like a heartbeat, like something that burns and at the same time warms. Beside it stands the yellow – wide, open, almost hopeful – as if it were catching the fall or giving it meaning.

In this image the sun does not simply go down. It plunges – bravely, passionately, perhaps also exhausted – into a space of light. It is a confrontation of heat and vastness, of pushing and letting go. Like a person who has given everything and now lets go, not out of weakness but out of devotion.

"Sonnensturz" feels like an inner upheaval: intense, overwhelming, but also clarifying. A moment in which something old burns away and, in the same breath, something new rises.
