Bruno Cantais, professional painter based in Lyon, is registered as a contributor to the Maison des Artistes.
Born in 1966 in Le Havre.
Bruno Cantais explores several techniques, ranging from Rauschenberg's abstract expressionism, to material projections, to Pop Art collage or expressionism.
He digs into the surface of the canvas, carving furrows that seem to open pathways or sometimes lose themselves in the mists of color. His inspiration is order and disorder, of feeling and perception, of shadow and light, of emptiness and fullness.
