Artwork details
This work is transfer number 0055.
Paper size: 54 x 35.5 cm. Image size: 27 x 10 cm.
Unique work, signed by the artist on the front of the photograph.
Includes a certificate of authenticity signed.
High-quality print with pigment ink that guarantees a museum-grade finish, and allows it to remain unaltered over time.
The print is carefully packaged with protective materials to ensure proper conservation during transport.
Description of the digital emulsion transfer technique
This is a technique I have developed personally, inspired by the classic emulsions transfer of Polaroid instant film, but adapted to the digital workflow.
It consists of printing an image with pigment inks on a support prepared so that, when submerged in cold water, the ink layer (the emulsion) can separate and be manually transferred to a high-quality art paper. During the process the image is directly manipulated, generating slight variations, textures, and folds that make each copy a unique piece.
Transfers can be made in different sizes —up to A2— and in color as well as black and white. The result combines digital precision with handmade finish, with an image protected by a coating that covers it, so it resists scratching and has good durability.
