This piece is transfer number 0138.
Paper size: 54 x 35.5 cm. Image size: 27 x 10 cm.
Unique piece, signed by the artist on the front of the photo.
Includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
High-quality pigment ink print that guarantees a museum-grade finish and remains unaltered over time.
The print is carefully packaged with protective material to ensure its proper conservation during transport.
Description of the digital emulsion transfer technique
It is a technique I have personally refined, inspired by the classic Polaroid instant film emulsion transfer, but adapted to the digital workflow.
It consists of printing an image with pigment inks on a prepared surface so that, when submerged in cold water, the ink layer (the emulsion) can separate and be manually transferred to a high-quality art paper. During the process the image is manipulated directly, generating slight variations, textures and folds that make each copy a unique piece.
Transfers can be made in different sizes —up to A2— and in color or black and white. The result combines digital precision with an artisanal finish, with an image protected by a coating film that covers it, so it resists scratching and offers good durability.
