Isabella Bruno Ysbel - Macbeth

This work originates within the series 'Monsters', an artistic research project that aims to give a face and color to the complexities of the human psyche by citing the great classics of literature. The 'Monster' is not represented as an external or negative entity, but as the projection of a powerful and indomitable inner energy.
The ambition and torment of the character are transmuted into a solid and vibrant geometric structure. The black outlines are not prisons, but necessary boundaries that give order to emotional chaos, while the saturated tones symbolize the vitality that arises from accepting one’s own 'shadows'.
