The first image represents the transition of the work from the external wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses or museums, entirely changing environment and meaning. In this case the most interesting perspective is selected and cut out from the wall, the one on which the street artist had carried out his intervention on the exterior. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be moved and placed inside: in homes, in buildings, in museums, or in other structures. In this way the artwork changes environment and function, moving from the public and everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and displayed as a true artistic object. All this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum setting.
