Marco Andolina, Entropia visiva, a 107 x 80 cm street art work created with spray paint and stencil, Original edition dated 2026, signed on the front and back, from Italy, in excellent condition, with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity included, frame not included, shipped rolled in a protective tube.
Description from the seller
Title: Visual Entropy
Description of the Work
The piece presents itself as an intricate mosaic of physiognomies, where fluid lines and spray-marked strokes overlap to give life to a crowd of abstract faces. The technique seems to evoke street-art aesthetics, yet with a more intimate and introspective sensibility.
Composition: The distribution of faces does not follow a precise hierarchy, suggesting a sense of mental overcrowding or a fragmented memory.
Contrasts: The use of soft shading (typical of airbrushing or spray) creates depth and mystery, counterposed to the sharpness of the 'scribbles' that define the features, evoking a tension between shadow and identity.
Symbolism: Eyes are the central element; some are wide open and attentive, others mere slits. This obsessive repetition transforms the viewer from observer to observed, creating a silent and almost hypnotic dialogue.
The whole conveys a restless yet magnetic energy, typical of a search that aims to plumb the unconscious to bring primal and universal forms to light
Dimensions: 107x80 cm (dimensions of the finished work)
Signature: Hand-signed on the front and back.
Condition: Excellent.
Certificate: Hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity included.
Frame: Not included.
Shipping: shipped rolled in a protective tube
