Description from the seller
Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notices the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, among which television programs dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio broadcasters. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and the BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as the scenery for Rai 3’s GEO program. His works are in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe.
The painting is a still life (composition) in oil on a canvas panel. The work is provided with a signed and stamped Certificate of Authenticity and shipped via FedEx.
