AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his earliest works one notes the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exercise on him, with great masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs entirely dedicated to him. The Maestro Rolfi's artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio stations. Among the most notable events are the large exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli in Rome in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria, and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. His paintings have been used for about six years as set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3.

His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe.

The work is a seascape, one of the Landscapes of Memory, in which the master recalls places from his life and the summers in Tuscany. The work is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and stamped and shipped via FedEx courier.
