Yayoi Kusama, recently passed away at age 97, was a Japanese artist. Recognized as one of the most important contemporary artists in Japan, her works and collaborations are destined to acquire further value.
This is not just a luxury bag, but the meeting of craftsmanship and art! A true work.
The bag is part of the second Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collection and undoubtedly represents the most iconic model of this collaboration.
This handheld bag with shoulder strap pays homage to the world of art and craftsmanship. The esteemed Japanese artist is known for her vivid and dotted designs, such as the colorful motif that adorns this Speedy version. At the same time, an elaborate screen-printing process creates a 3D embossed effect on the Monogram canvas. In this way the functional model is reinterpreted in a playful and creative manner.
Made in monogram-embossed coated canvas with multicolored polka dots. The tote is ideal to wear by hand or crossbody, thanks to the removable and adjustable shoulder strap.
