Description from the seller
Danza Mecánica is a contemporary sculpture that explores movement, balance and body fragmentation through rigid geometric forms. The work is built from interconnected rectangular modules, reminiscent of human figures in full choreographic gesture, suspended between stability and collapse.
Despite its industrial and mechanical appearance, the sculpture conveys a sense of dynamism and inner tension, as if the figures were trapped in a silent dance. The repetition of shapes and the articulated structure create a dialogue between control and freedom, order and chaos.
The work invites the viewer to reflect on the relationship between the human being and mechanization, as well as on the possibility of expressing emotion and movement through seemingly cold and rational structures.
This unique sculpture is part of the continuity of previous works, but possesses its own character. The composition has been enriched with additional elements and a new structural order that generates a distinct sense of movement, balance and dynamism.
Compared to previous works, it presents variations in size and the arrangement of its components, which subtly transform its overall structure. Each piece is irreplaceable and reflects an evolution within the same creative line.
Dimensions: 40 × 38 × 41 cm
Material: Iron
Finish in silver color
Information about the artist

Exhibitions: I develop my artistic practice independently.
Awards: I have not received official awards.
Residencies: I have not participated in artistic residencies.
My work focuses on creating unique pieces situated between sculpture and functional object, with an emphasis on materiality, structure and the durability of the piece. I develop sculptural furniture in concrete and iron, combining function and sculptural form, with a clear Brutalist influence. My work centers on geometry, structure and materiality, creating pieces that explore balance, repetition and visual presence in space.
Packaging and shipping
The piece will be carefully packed using appropriate protective materials to ensure its safety during transport.
Certificate of authenticity
The sculpture will be shipped with its corresponding certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
