A highly collectible vintage bottling of The Macallan 18 Years Old, distilled in 1966 and matured in sherry wood, representing one of the classic releases from the golden era of Macallan production.
This bottle belongs to the early generation of Macallan 18 year old releases and features the original bakelite cap, a characteristic detail of older Macallan bottlings highly appreciated by collectors.
The bottle was imported to Italy by Giovinetti & Figli Milano, a historic Italian importer whose Macallan releases are well known among collectors of vintage Scotch whisky.
Macallan from this period is renowned for its traditional full sherry cask maturation, which contributed to the distillery’s legendary reputation for rich and complex Highland single malts.
