The elegant wooden case contains a fountain pen, a bottle of inkwell ink, a notebook with white parchment pages bearing a wax seal with the Delta logo and a certificate of guarantee. This is a beautiful fountain pen from the famous Delta Pen company, in a numbered limited edition; only 70 units were produced. The filling mechanism is the side lever type. Dedicated to the Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheatre), from 70 AD to 1996 AD.
Colosseum Platinum Limited Edition is a writing object whose colors and shapes reproduce the splendor and elegance of the ancient Roman world. Produced in a limited edition of only 70 pieces worldwide. Reserved and distributed exclusively in Italy. Characterized by the central band in pure platinum 950‰. It bears a raised relief of ivy, a symbol of tenacity and fidelity, which, as a centuries-old guardian, clings with its roots to walls eroded by time. Almost as if to protect what is most extraordinary that mankind has ever accomplished.
The artisans of Delta created this fountain pen with a BODY in special resin, hand-turned from a solid bar in yellow-gold mother-of-pearl and black. The nib is in 750‰ gold with a plated platinum mask, decorated with a 16th-century Celtic design, customized, flexible. The CLIP is made of a special metal, particularly elastic, platinum-plated: it features a small wheel whose function is to facilitate its insertion into a pocket. Regarding the CAP, at its end there is the monogram applied. Its connection to the reservoir is strictly screwed with a three-start thread. To always achieve the exact alignment of lever and clip, insert the reservoir with the lever perfectly in line with the clip and screw clockwise.
The TRUE CENTRAL features a raised relief of ivy leaves, a distinguishing decorative element, in pure platinum 950‰. The LEVER is in platinum-plated metal and bears the edition year engraved.
Ancient and fascinating filling system, easy to use, free from wear-prone elements. This pen has never been used, a rare and highly sought-after collectible.
