Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Vanishing Point fountain pen with a red lacquered plastic body and stainless steel components, 141 mm long and 13 mm in diameter, 14K gold nib, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
A0000003463
The pen is in excellent overall condition, showing evident care and very moderate use.
The lacquered body in bright red maintains a uniform finish, deep and with a high level of shine. No dents, cracks, or lacquer losses are observed. At first glance only very slight superficial micro-scratches can be seen, typical of careful handling and practically imperceptible at a normal distance of use.
The gold-plated metal elements — clip, button, central ring, and front section — present a bright and uniform shine. No plating losses or significant wear are observed. Only very light superficial marks under direct light can be seen, normal on a used piece, but not at all affecting its aesthetics.
The retractable mechanism works correctly: the button acts with firmness and precision, with secure closure and proper alignment. The inner gate seals the nib properly.
The 14K gold nib is in very good condition, with no deformities or visible alterations. The tines are correctly aligned and the tip preserves its original geometry. No structural damage is observed.
There are no personalizations or engravings.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved specimen, with minimal and normal signs of use, ideal for both collection and demanding daily use.
Happy bidding!
