Frédérique Longrée - Road to Nowhere

Frédérique Longrée was born in 1971, somewhere in Belgium, and she is still astonished by it.

A trained musicologist, she discovered during her years in Geneva a way to reconcile her love of music, poetry and a questioning of the inalienable relationship Life/Death.
Her work proposes, among other things, chimerae, altered young faces, Vanities, always in a surreal vein.
To show that beauty is subjective; that it is fragile, above all.

Her photomontages are created without any recourse to AI and printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Metallic paper, with 12-color inkjet (Giclée) printing.

Frédérique Longrée has exhibited in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
She won the 1st Prize in the Opus Continuum Contest in Naples, in 2021.

She collaborates with publishing houses: Asmodée/Edern, L\'Age d\'Homme, Cactus Inébranlable, Editions du Cygne, Maelström Editions, for whom she custom-illustrates book covers or poetry collections.

The signature is handwritten on the back of the print.
