Description from the seller
MiLo – “Absurdicon”
A work by Amsterdam-based artist MiLo (1976).
In this vibrant and expressive composition, gestural marks, drips, scribbles and layered color fields collide across the canvas, forming a visual language that feels both spontaneous and intentional. Bright passages of pink, yellow and turquoise interact with bold black forms and delicate line work, creating a surface that is rich in movement and rhythm.
Fragments of symbols, lines and textures appear almost like traces of thought or fleeting signals, giving the painting the character of an energetic visual dialogue. The composition balances chaos and structure, inviting the viewer to explore its layered details and shifting relationships.
The work embodies MiLo’s exploration of urban abstraction and intuitive mark-making, where gesture, color and texture combine into a dynamic and contemporary visual statement.
The artwork will be carefully rolled and securely shipped in a sturdy cardboard box or protective shipping tube.
