Vittorio Emanuele Serra, Naples, 1950 — painter and set designer, highly appreciated, he created stage designs for theaters and churches in the provinces of Naples. He began as a portraitist, executing many commissioned portraits. This artist has participated in many important exhibitions, receiving praise and esteem for his splendid painting art. He studied seventeenth-century painting; this artist is an innovator who has made his way among many contemporary painters. He created this oil on canvas in mixed media titled "Haseki" (the sultan’s favorite slave), measuring 50 x 35 cm. This artist also creates paintings on any support and with different techniques. Having graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, he was instructed by great professors and artists of the early twentieth century.
