Anton Heyboer (1924-2005)
Due to his unconventional way of life, Anton Heyboer belonged to the most eccentric Dutch artists of the past decades. His turbulent lifestyle manifested itself in five marriages. He also described himself as 'the Robin Hood of the art world,' referring to his prolific output. Heyboer trained as a mechanical engineer.
