THE ARTIST
SINAO was born in New York in 1981. Although considered an emerging street artist, he has been working on murals since the '90s. He loves placing his art on street materials (cardboard, garbage cans, mailboxes, hydrants) and rarely uses canvases. He was influenced by Blek le Rat. Most of the time, you can see his rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland) adorn the streets of American and European capitals.
Like most street artists, Sinao remains as infiltrated and anonymous as possible, revealing himself only masked by a Black Death doctor’s mask. For larger murals, he surrounds himself with artists under the Franco-American brand: Mind the Gap Label. The artist Sinao has a uniquely distinctive style in the world of street art.
His works are currently exhibited in numerous galleries around the world.
